Waterlichaam

What happens when two women meet underwater? Far removed from the rush of everyday life, space opens up for a different perspective. At the bottom of the sea, they help each other make choices they are unable to face above water.

With Waterlichaam, Zoë van der Velde and Clarette Schouten graduate from the Bachelor of Theatre at ArtEZ. Through self-written texts and newly developed music by Julia Dubbelboer (student HKU Master Music Design), they create their graduation performance. In Waterlichaam, they bring repressed feelings to the surface.

During the ArtEZ finals, you can discover the work of the newest generation of makers from all academies in Arnhem, Enschede and Zwolle. Graduating bachelor’s and master’s students present their final projects to the public. From theatre and dance to concerts, exhibitions and more.
